MHHP Achievements 2022-2023

  • MHHP continues partnering with Shriners Hospitals for Children and we continue building dedicated music rooms/studios at Shriners Hospitals for Children throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. MHHP has provided musical instruments and facilitated deliveries to 17 of our 23 Shriners Hospitals Partners for their dedicated music rooms. This has been made possible through our partnerships with: Gibson Gives, REMO Percussion, KRK Kares, Epiphone Guitars, Kramer guitars, Maestro effects, Zildjian cymbals and more.
  • MHHP won the 100-year Shriners for Children Hospitals Best Partner Organization Award! We celebrated the Shriners 100-year Gala Awards event at the Segerstrom Shelby Event Center in Irvine, California on June 18th, 2022. It was quite a celebration and an honor! And we raised $1.25Mil for Shriners at the gala.
  • MHHP raised $2.25Mil for Shriners Hospitals for Children in ’22 through music events that MHHP/Shriners held for philanthropists.
  • MHHP established new licensed music therapists’ visits to the Shriners hospitals.
  • MHHP established a MHHP “superstar” sessions band with world renowned musicians and established “The Mighty Shriners Kids Band” who sometimes play with the MHHP band. We hold ongoing Shriners music events.
  • The Shriners kids are spending time in the MHHP dedicated music rooms/studios. We are very instrumental in helping children who were prepped for surgery yet too stressed to continue with surgery. When MHHP was called in to work with the children through our program, the music and love worked like clockwork, calming the children down which provided the surgeons with the calmness required for a successful surgery. This is noted throughout the hospital.
  • MHHP donated guitars to Santa Barbara, California child trafficking and homeless foundation, D’Arezzo Creative Education of Santa Barbara. These instruments make a positive difference in the recovery of the children being housed.
  • MHHP donated ukuleles to a child with the rare disease called 5-P syndrome, a chromosomal condition that results when a piece of chromosome 5 is missing. Little is known about this rare disease, and we are donating instruments to study how music and playing instruments affect those patients with 5-P syndrome.
  • MHHP has donated guitars and percussion instruments to addiction rehab facilities throughout southern California.
  • MHHP established our Music Well Being project with production music, Nature’s Music, Meditational instruction and music, music composing and production instruction, live music and more.
  • MHHP’s founder/director, Bruce Lowe has been asked to join forces with prominent PHD scientists for international support of studies related to proving the scientific connection of music and sound to consciousness and neurology in humans and the positives effects the music has. Included are scientists from MIT, Cal Tech, and other world-renowned higher education schools. These lectures and studies continue into ’23.
  • MHHP held press/media shows/concert events to raise funding for patients faced with mental & physical challenges.
  • MHHP established a MHHP/Shriners Music/Arts advisory Board. We continue the organization.
